Answer #1:
Salt, Pepper, Garlic, otherwise if you want to go a little different.... apples, raisins, and cinnamon is really really good with pork!!!Answer #2:
Season your meat well, with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, etc. It all depends what you have in your pantry. Remember to sear the meat before you cook it in the crock pot. Sliced mushrooms can be added close to when you're going to serve it. I would actually leave the roast whole, and then use the sauce for the meat when you plate the dish. Potatoes, carrots, celery, and turnips are all good vegetables to slow cook. You should also have an amount of tomato paste in there for good measure. Just taste it as you go along, and adjust it as you feel you need to.Answer #3:
hungarians do an awesome stew called Porkolt. You can cut the pork up into chunks, and cut onions into small chunks as well and fry them in a good quantity of oil. Then add lots of paprika and stir it around but make sure it doesnt burn by adding a little beef stock and tomato purree. Literally thats all the ingredients. Stew this for 6-8 hours adding broth when necessary. The stew should thicken up on its own with no addition of flour or cornstarch. At the end add the salt and pepper, and serve over small pasta (tarhonya- i make it at home, but you can use small shells or any other small pasta. Its really delicious!Answer #4:
